When is our Kannada in land records?
Earth is one of the most impossible things in the world to grow. Hence it is a good investment tool. Hardly you can learn about stocks, mutual funds. But public relations is essential to understand the real estate-land registration process facts. This is because - land records come from many centuries and through many languages.
Mainly in Karnataka, the words of Persian origin in the land records are more khata, pahani, podi (Bajji has this name in South Canara!) and some words need to be digested to understand. We are not using Kannada words that mean these things, convey these feelings.
Recently they created form 16, 17, 18 etc. which have no meaning. What is the necessity of this? Meanwhile. "The words of many current land records are already ingrained in people's minds. Now, if it is created in Kannada, the confusion will increase,' is not your contention? So what is wrong if we keep those words and use Kannada words that convey their meaning in brackets in parallel?
Another thing - Land records are different for different states. Goa, Jammu Kashmir, neighboring Kerala, Tamil Nadu and so on.. Like GST one nation-one tax land records do not exit.
